JAMMU, July 5: Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) has collected Rs 1.2 lakh for Uttarakhand victims during a camp organised for the donations while Managing Committee of Lal Dwara, Nanak Nagar has donated Rs 25,000 for the victims.
Since the Red Cross Society has taken the target of collecting Rs 10 lakh, it would be organizing more collection camps at Trikuta Nagar. The Red Cross Society has opened an account with Punjab and Sind Bank, Shalamar Branch (No 01731000030394) in the name of District Red Cross Society for donations, whose online transaction IFS code is PSIB 0000173.
DC Jammu AK Sahu, SSP Jammu Atul Goel and IRCS Executive Secretary Suresh Sharma would inaugurate the collection camp at Trikuta Nagar.
Meanwhile, Lal Dwara, Nanak Nagar Managing Committee has collected Rs 25,000 for the victims of earthquake affected people of Uttarakhand and donated the amount in Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.
