JAMMU, Aug 20: Mission Olympics Shooting Academy Jammu (MOSAJ) shooters have brought laurels for J&K Union Territory in 0755 India Open Shooting Championship competitions held at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
In the Champion of Championships (COC) trophy match two shooters Akul Mengi and Aneesha Sharma had secured 2nd place in senior men and senior women category respectively. While in the qualifications Aneesha Sharma with the score of 627.0 bagged 2 individual gold medals in Senior and Junior Category.
In the 10 meter Air Rifle Men Youth Category, Akul Mengi bagged the gold medal. In the team event Shimani Choudhary won Silver medal in the senior women rifle category. Himanshu Gupta secured 4th rank in Senior Men Category and Vansh Charak secured 4th rank in Sub Youth Men Category
The championship was conducted by National Rifle Association of India. Coaches of MOSAJ Vishal Mehra and Aman Singh appreciated the shooters for their remarkable achievements.
President Jammu and Kashmir Rifle Association (JKRA) S.S Sodhi, Chairman Kuldeep Singh Jamwal and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sharat Chander Singh applauded them for this achievement.
