UDHAMPUR, Feb 25: A mother and her daughter were critically injured due to lightning near their house at village Phatti in Udhampur, here today.
The injured were identified as Chanchla Devi (38) wife of Joginder Pal and her daughter Rekha (18). They were rushed to local hospital where doctors referred them to GMC Hospital Jammu in view of their critical condition.
In a similar incident of lightning yesterday, house of Sansar Chand, son of Vidya of Ritti suffered minor damages.
