RAMBAN, Sept 26: Mother of three children allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself with a tree near her residence in Kanga area, falling under the jurisdiction of Dharamkund Police Station.
As per police sources, mother of three children identified as Sumitri Devi, wife of Lal Singh, a resident of Kanga allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself with a tree near her residence.
On getting information, police team from Dharamkund Police Station rushed to the spot and shifted the body to District Hospital Ramban, where after conducting autopsy, the body was handed over to family members for last rites.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Dharamkund Police Station and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
