JAMMU, Mar 24: Mother’s Pride & Joy Pre-Primary school celebrated its Annual Day on the theme “How’s the Josh” at Director Information Auditorium, Gandhi Nagar, here today.
The event was to unveil the valour of our men in uniform.
Rakesh Dubey, Deputy Director Information Jammu was the chief guest, while Dr Chand Trehan, Jammu’s leading Child Psychologist of national repute was the guest of honour. Lalit Mahajan President Bari Brahmana Industries Association graced the occasion as special guest.
The program began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a 2 minute silence in the memory of India’s brave hearts who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.
Chanting of Gaytri Mantra marked the start to the event.
Earlier, the Director and Principal of the school, Mona Khurana presented welcome address and the school’s annual report. She also touched upon various initiatives and activities of the School.
Dr Trehan also conducted a session for upgrading the skills of the parents to deal with the children.
Rakesh Dubey while addressing the audience after the prize distribution ceremony highly appreciated the efforts put in by the children and the staff in putting up a fabulous show and also congratulated the school management.
The students exhibited their talent and pepped up patriotism amongst the gathering with their performances and dedicated the event as a tribute to India’s Armed Forces.
The program rose to a final crescendo with a patriotic number in the grand finale which ended in a beautiful resonance lingering in the minds of everyone leaving them high on josh.
The event concluded with national Anthem.
