Mother’s Pride & Joy Pre-School holds annual day function

JAMMU, Mar 23: Mother’s Pride & Joy Pre-School organized annual day with the theme ‘Bollywood Extravaganza’ at Government College for Women (GCW), Gandhi Nagar, here today.
The event unveiled an array of charms that Bollywood is endowed with.
The students of Nursery welcomed the chief guest, Kuldeep Khoda, Chief Vigilance Commissioner J&K alongwith the guest of honour, Rehana Batool, Additional Commissioner Jammu.
The event began with the National Anthem, which was followed by the lighting of the traditional lamp and with the chanting of prayers and the Ganesh Vandana.
The School Principal, Mona Khurana presented welcome address, besides presenting the annual report.
She also touched upon various initiatives and activities of the Mother’s Pride & Joy Pre-School
Annual Day Ceremony ‘Bollywood Extravaganza’, witnessed Parents and Grand Parents in large numbers who gathered to cheer their wards.
Mr Khoda and Mrs Batool alongwith, Dr Chand Trehan, Psychologist and founder member of Mother’s Pride and Joy pre-School gave away mementoes and diplomas to the passing out little scholars.
The highlight and the beauty of the programme was the Bollywood feel which could be perceived right from the word go. The children were dressed up in glittering filmy style attires.
Students exhibited their hidden talent by performing on different dance tunes including some hip-hop numbers that filled the environment with great joy and enthusiasm.
The programme rose to a final crescendo with the grand finale and ended in a beautiful resonance lingering in the minds of everyone.
