UDHAMPUR, Apr 3: A motorcyclist was killed while his pillion rider sustained critical injuries when their vehicle was hit by a truck at near Domail on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway today evening.
The deceased has been identified as Sanjeev Kumar (35), son of Romesh Kumar, a resident of Rehmti, District Udhampur while the injured, identified as Shallu Kumar (34), son of Mulkh Raj, a resident of village Tanal District Udhampur, was shifted to District Hospital Udhampur from where doctors referred him to GMCH Jammu for specialised treatment.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station Udhampur and investigation started.
