JAMMU, Nov 9: Mochi Pholi Saet Athroat Trust (MPSAT) held its executive body meeting, under the chairmanship of Veer Ji Bhat at Muthi, here today.
The meeting apart from discussing the problems being faced by the Kashmiri Pandit Community, assessed the functioning of the Trust from last six months with regard to distribution of assistance to needy and deserving students, patients and other people of the community.
The meeting said that apart from providing on-spot medical and marriage assistance of Rs 25,000 to the deserving families, the Trust has distributed an amount of Rs 1,56,300 among the deserving families of the community from last six months.
Meanwhile, for his working and contribution for the cause of the community, the Trust has inducted Manoj Kumar as member in its executive body during the meeting.
Prominent among others present in the meeting were R L Koul, R L Bhat, S L Koul, M K Dhar, T K Dhar, R K Pandita, S K Ganjoo, Chand Ji Ambardar, Manoj Kumar and R N Raina.
