JAMMU, Oct 12: Body Building Association Jammu and Kashmir (BBAJK) in collaboration with Indian Body Builders Federation is going to organize Mr J&K and will host Mr North India body building championship here in Jammu on December 14 and 15, 2012.
This was disclosed by General Secretary Body Building Association J&K Rajesh Dutta in a press statement issued here today.
Giving details about the championships, he said Mr Kashmir will be organized on October 21 at Srinagar while Mr Jammu and Mr J&K will be held on 14th December, 2012 at Police Auditorium, Gulshan Ground, Jammu. He added that Jammu also got an opportunity to host Mr North India which is scheduled to be held on December 15, 2012 at Police Auditorium, Gulshan Ground, Jammu.
Dutta mentioned that prominent body builders and members of the Indian Body Builders Federations will grace the events here in Jammu. The body builders of 10 States of the nation will display their body building talent in the Mr North India body building championship.
He said that to promote the activities of body building in the state and to motivate the youth of J&K, the Body Building Association J&K has decided to affiliate all the gym/clubs of all the districts of the State.
Dutta further said that the association has also decided to provide the latest information regarding body building to all the affiliated gyms/clubs along with rules and regulations of the Indian Body Building Federation.
“Body Building Association J&K and Indian Body Building Federation will also conduct the Referees-Judges examination during Mr J&K, Mr North India championships on December 14, 15”, the general secretary disclosed.
The statement added that two International championships Mr South Asia and Mr World are also going to be held at Ludhiana and Bangkok respectively.
