Mridul to represent India in Gymnastics International Coaching Camp

JAMMU, Sept 12: Promising gymnast of Jammu and Kashmir, Mridul Gupta has been selected to attend Common Training Camp in Rhythmic Gymnastics of Asian Continent to be held at Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.
Mridul is the only gymnast to represent India in this special Coaching Camp, which is being organized by the Asian Gymnastics Union, under the aegis of International Gymnastics Federation.
A student of Presentation Convent School, Jammu, who takes training at Indoor Sports Complex, MA Stadium, Jammu under the guidance of Sports Council coaches Arjuna Awardee Krupali Singh. Manisha Gupta has got selected for this prestigious camp during the selection trials held at Pune last Month.
The main objective of the Camp is to develop and exchange the experiences in coaching skills of Rhythmic Gymnastics as also to have good relationship between coaches and gymnasts of the Asian Continent.
The expenses of this training camp are being supported by AGU under its development program.
It is pertinent to mention here that Mridul is outstanding gymnast of J & K State, who has won many medals for the State in various National Championships.
