MSCC scripts 6-wkt win over NRSC in BPL T20

JAMMU, May 1: The team effort helped Miran Sahib Cricket Club (MSCC) to get better of Night Riders Simbal Camp (NRSC) in the match of the Baisakhi Premier League (BPL) T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by Diamond Cricket Club at High School Simbal Camp, near here.
Batting first, NRSC bundled out for a paltry total of 76 runs in 16.2 overs. Atinder Pal, Pawan and Ankit contributed 29, 16 and 13 runs to the total respectively. For MSCC, Tushar, Vicky and Sachin claimed 2 wickets each.
In reply, MSCC chased the required runs in just 9.2 over by losing 4 wickets, thus won the match by 6 wickets. Gagan was the top scorer with quick-fire 28 runs, while Akshay and Pinchu contributed 17 and 11 runs to the total respectively. Atinder Pal took 2 wickets for MSCC, while Ishmeet and Pawan claimed one wicket each. Gagan was adjudged man of the match for his brick innings of 28 runs.
The match was officiated by Kulbir Singh and Harcharan Bablu as umpires while Ravinder Mantoo was the scorer. The tournament is being held under the supervision of GS Michael, organising secretary.
