MSTA stresses for uniformity of rates, procurement of quality products

JAMMU, Apr 24: Medical and Surgical Traders’ Association (MSTA), Jammu has highlighted various demands including uniformity of rates and procurement of quality products.
The demands were highlighted during a meeting of the executive body of the Association held here today.
During the meeting, the speakers stressed for uniformity of rates alleging that uniformity of rates were not maintained earlier by four committees, as rates in Jammu were low and in Kashmir high.
The meeting also demanded procurement of quality products, centralizing purchase syatem, remittance of payments, transparency in every respect, establishing one central store each in Kashmir and Jammu region and supply of products only to central store.
Later, the association also took up the demands with Health and Medical Education Minister, Bali Bhagat, who assured that their demands will be fulfilled very soon.
