Mubarak Mandi restoration

Sir,
This has a reference to news item “Priya visits Mubarak Mandi”, DE Aug 10. In this connection I would like to say that this great Dogra Heritage Complex is in its critical stage of existance. It is pertinent to mention here that deep rooted sentiments of Dogras are associated with this  grand  structure. People have very high hopes from the present State Govt but whatever is to be done it should be done with the same speed as we do in other parts of the State. Without going into the critical aspect let us at least now hope for the best.
The present speed of work and quality of work needs immediate review. It is not possible at all to complete the job in less then fifty years period if things are allowed to run like present. It has become the talk of the town. The Authority assigned the job should be restructured at once and a high power board like SMVD Shrine Board should be constituted with Governor as its head. The Chief Minister are ever busy in Administrative affairs, so she cannot spare much time for these projects. The second thing is that skilled men power be increased or some other expert agency which has worked on palaces and forts in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh should be engaged. The review meeting of this Board should be held on monthly basis with Commissioner Secretary Rank Officer as its Secretary. If timely attention is not paid Mubarak Mandi will turn into ruins like Royal Palace of Chenani and Jasrota.  Minister should pay a visit to Mantalai and steps should be taken for the development of left over great Empire of Swami Dharendra Brahamchari. Also last remains of Chandervanshi Kings which is Ladden Fort near Udhampur may also be got renovated to save rich historical heritage. Mubarak Mandi is in the hearts and minds of the people. A flyover should be constructed to link it with outer roads and provision of underground parking should also been considered at the same place where new offices have be built after dismeantling the beautiful part of this heritage.
Yours  etc…
