SRINAGAR : Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of President Pranab Mukherjee’s wife Suvra Mukherjee who passed away this morning.
Paying rich tributes, the Chief Minister described Suvra Mukherjee as a creative artist, writer and painter, who lived a very active life and contributed immensely towards promotion of art and literature.
I convey my condolences to the President over the demise of his life’s companion and pray that Almighty gives him courage to bear the irreparable loss, he stated.
The Chief Minister conveyed his solidarity with the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul. (AGENCIES)
