JAMMU, Apr 24: In an impressive and well attended function, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mukesh Singh, who happens to be the Vice-President of Hockey J&K flagged off the contingent at K K Hakku Astroturf Hockey Stadium for the 5th Junior Girls Hockey India Nationals to be held at Rajnand Gaon in Chhattisgarh.
He wished all the very best to the team and the staff and also distributed sports kits among the players.
IGP also conveyed best wishes from S M Sahai, ADGP and Working President of Hockey J&K, to the contingent.
Prominent among others who attended the flag off ceremony were Rumal Singh, General Secretary, Gurjeet Bakshi, Secretary, Ranjit Singh, SP and Inspector Kuldeep Handoo, Sports Officer APHQ J&K.
