Murder case of poultry farm employee worked out, killer arrested

JAMMU, Sept 9: Akhnoor police worked out murder case of poultry farm employee with the arrest of killer within 24 hours.
As per police sources, today morning a complaint was lodged by Pula Sharma, son of Sain Dass of Daskal with Police Station Akhnoor stating that at around 6:30 am, when he went to his poultry farm situated at Bharda Kalan, he found the body of his employee namely Lal Bahadur (60), son of Gur Bahadur of Garam Bashi District Lamjum Nepal lying in a pool of blood on his bed.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 190/18 under Section 302 RPC was registered at Akhnoor Police Station and investigation started.
After completing medical and legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
During the course of investigation, a team from Akhnoor Police Station detained a suspect and during questioning, the suspect confessed that he committed the murder.
Police arrested the accused, who has been identified as Shiv Kumar, son of Prem Chand of Kapai di Bai Tehsil Akhnoor District Jammu. The weapon of offence (danda) was also recovered on the disclosure of the accused.
The blind murder case was worked out by SHO Akhnoor Inspector Shivdev Singh under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Munish Anand, SP Rural Dushyant Sharma and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
