Muskan bags below-22 kg girls gold

JAMMU, June 25: Muskan claimed gold in below-22 kg girls, while Nandita and Shriya bagged silver and bronze respectively in the 5th Tiger Taekwondo Championship, which concluded at Shree Guru Ravidass Temple, Pacca Talab, New Plot, here.
MLA, Balwan Singh was the chief guest on the valedictory function, who later-on distributed prizes the medal winners.
In below-37 kg girls, Shilpa Kumari bagged gold and Mansi Dubey claimed silver, while below-20 kg gilrs gold went to Nandita Dubey and the silver to Shriya Heer.
Meanwhile, in boys section, Aakash Kumar clinched gold in below-26 kg category, while Kushager Sharma and Raman claimed silver and bronze respectively, while in below-31 kg boys, Varun Sharma bagged gold, Saiyam Chandan got silver, while the bronze was shared by Chintan and Mohit Heer.
Below-30 kg boys gold went to Mukesh, silver to Anmol Dubey and the bronze to Rohit Heer.
In below-22 kg boys, Piyush Rattan and Govind Singh claimed gold and silver respectively, while in below-20 kg boys, Vivek and Neelaksh claimed gold and bronze respectively.
In 50 to 54 kg senior boys category, Aakash Majotra bagged gold, Manik Kumar clinched silver, while the bronze went to Pawan Kumar.
The officiating panel of experts included Rajat Bhagat, Aakash Majotra, Vasbhi Chandan, Sakshi Thakyal, Sachin Chandwal and Aditya Choudhary.
