MV International celebrates Activity Day

JAMMU, July 23: MV International School organized a series of co-curricular activities for its students from Kindergarten wing to Class XIIth during the morning session in the School premises, here.
The main focus of the activities was to bring out the hidden talent present in every student that he or she is unable to express during the regular academic classes.
The teachers guided the students well in order to make their presentation more appealing.
The kindergarten toddlers were made to celebrate ‘Red-Colour Day’. The little ones came dressed up all in beautiful and neat and red coloured dresses. They were given the task of recognizing various red colour objects around them like different red coloured fruits. Red colour being used as a symbol of love and compassion and also used in traffic lights to indicate danger or stop signal. It was an informative session.
The student of classes Ist and IInd enthusiastically recited Hindi poems, while classes IIIth, IVth & Vth participated in ‘Kavi Goshti’. Each student enthralled the class by their poetic sense along with short biography about the poet.
The first position went to Suryansh (5-C), second to Tavleen Kour (5-C) and third to Haridhika (5-A).
The students of Classes VI, VII and VIII were involved in presenting ‘English Poetry’. It was an Inter-House Competition that gave them a forum to show the flair of English poetry.
The winners were decided by the jury and the first position was bagged by Akariti Sharma (8-C, Newton House), second position Gitanjali (7-B, Newton) and third position was shared by Kashish (6-C, Edison) & Varun Slathia (6-C, Edison).
The girl students of the classes IX to XII took part in the Iter house activity of ‘Salad Making’.
The teams of 5 each made different kind of decorative salad plates that consisted of various kinds of vegetables and fruits.
The first position was shared by Newton and Darwin House; second position went to Einstein House and third position to Edison House.
In the outdoor activity boys of class IX and XII won the final of the ‘Inter House Football Match’. Einstein House scored two goals to one goal of Newton House to be declared as the School Football Champions.
