JAMMU, Oct 28: MV International School celebrated the Activity Day in the school premises, here today.
Inter House Debate Competition was organized for the students of class VI-VIII, wherein the students presented their views in favour and against the topic “Television is the main cause of violence in today’s society.”
The winners were Mansi (8th A), Dheemant (8th A) and Atul (8th A) from Darwin House with 145 points, followed by Akriti (8th A), Kanika (8th A) and Samriti (8th B) from Newton House with 143 points.
Class III-V played Inter House Speedball final match between Newton and Einstein House. Veer Bharti (4th B) and Akash Slathia (4th A) from Newton House emerged winners with maximum number of shots.
An Intra-Section Spellathon Competition for the students of IX-XII was organized aiming to promote, nurture and reward students at spellings, meanings, origin and sentence framing.
Classes I-II were involved in story book reading activity to provide valuable practice to children. Children very enthusiastically participated with proper voice intonation, pronunciation and expressions.
