JAMMU, July 28: MV International School hosted Inter-School Zone Level Badminton Tournament for Under-19 Boys and Girls. The event was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports Zone Office Vijaypur.
In Boys Singles, Sahil Singh of MV International School defeated Sandeep Singh of Higher Secondary School (HSS) Vijaypur by 2 sets. In Boys doubles, Tarun Sharma and Mukesh Sambyal of MVIS won the match in 2 sets by beating Pardeep Kumar and Mukesh Kumar of HSS Vijaypur.
In Girls Singles, Vanshika Sharma of MV International School won the match in 2 sets by beating Shivali Rana of HSS Vijaypur. In Girls Doubles, Ayushi Uniyal and Neha Sharma of MVIS won the match by 2-1 from Bandana Sharma and Pooja Kumari of HSS Vijaypur.
Earlier, the event was declared open by Principal of the school, KL Dogra along with the organizers from Department of Youth Services and Sports, Zone Vijaypur.
