JAMMU, Mar 14: The team of MV International School Jammu bagged 2nd position in the National Level Robotryst-2014 held at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
It was an event in which 350 teams from all over the country participated.
The event was the culmination of two day regional level workshop of Robotics held at Jammu in the month of November-2013. The regional teams with exceptional display were selected for the final round at IIT-Delhi.
At IIT-Delhi, out of 350 teams MV International team for its exceptional performance was declared 2nd in the final round.
The team of students comprising of Himanshu Prajapati, Mukul Kashyap and Hari Krishana worked under the guidance and supervision of Naveen Kumar, PGT-Physics who also escorted the team to IIT-Delhi.
The team was acknowledged and honoured with certificates, trophies, medals, cash prize of Rs 21000, a commendation certificate to the school and a special prize for the best Robo.
The achievement was highly applauded by the Management of the School.
