JAMMU, Oct 15: MV International School housed an Inter House Declamation Competition for class IX- XII.
The competition witnessed a neck to neck struggle of dexterous articulation between participants. The competition was judged by Jasmeet and Monika Bagal. Darwin house bagged 1st position with 35 marks followed by Newton House on second position with 33.5 marks and Edison House on 3rd position with 30 marks.
An Inter House Rangoli Competition was held for girls of VI – VIII. Students made beautiful rangolis using chalk, flower, colours, powder colour, pulses etc. They used the creativcity to make different designs depicting cultural themes.
The Rangoli made by the Darwin House was the most vibrant and colourful. ClassVI – VIII boys had Inter House Football Match. The first semifinal was played between Edison and Newton House which Edison House won convincingly by score of 0-2.
The second semi final was played between Einstein House and Darwin House and won by Darwin. The game was extremely captivating and nail biting as both the teams displayed skills and speed.
Class III- V enthusiastically took part in Speedball Competition. Inter Class Diwali Card Making Competition was organized for class I-II. Students brought all the accessories required for card making from home.
Children expressed their imagination by drawing, cutting, pasting and decorating the cards using different material. There are no words to express the creativity shown by the prize winner Sehaz of 2nd C, Pavni of 1stA and Lakshay Bagal of 1st B.
