MV International School celebrates Annual Day

SAMBA, Dec 9: MV International School (MVIS) celebrated its 17th Annual Day function at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammum, here today.
Sheetal Nanda, Commissioner Secretary Social Welfare Department was the Chief Guest while Guests of Honour of the event were Kulbhushan Khajuria Joint Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation and Ranjeet Kalra, Member J&K Sports Council including Chairman of School Hira Lal Abrol, Vice Chairperson Savita Abrol, Directors Gourav Abrol & Aakriti Abrol and Principal Kundan Lal Dogra, along with parents of students were also present on this occasion.
Awards worth Rupees Five Lakh and Forty Five Thousand (Rs 5,45,000) were presented by the Chief Guest, Guests of Honour, Special Guest and the school management to the top notch achievers in academics, co-curricular activities and sports. Five HP Laptops were presented to meritorious students of class 12th who scored above 95% marks in CBSE examination 2023.
Sheetal Nanda appreciated that all events of the function were power packed with amazing Indian culture and a forward looking approach to education. She appreciated the students and parents for their wise choice of MV International School for the quality education of their children. Ranjeet Kalra guided the parents to help the children and school to explore the sporting talents of their kids, no wonder the next world champion may be there in their homes.
Principal Kundan Lal Dogra appraised the house with the school’s unflinching efforts to cater to the holistic development of student’s personality. He presented a brief report on notable achievements of the students in academics and co-curricular events which have brought glory to the school.
