MV Int’l School organizes fancy dress competition

SAMBA, Aug 10: MV International School organized a fancy dress competition on the theme of patriotism here today.
Sukhleen Kour, Chief Planning Officer, District Samba was the chief guest on this occasion. Chairman of the school Hira Lal Abrol, Director Gourav Abrol and Principal Kundan Lal Dogra were also present there.
The students from nursery presented traditional attire representing various states to showcase the rich diversity of India. Their eloquent lines about each state added an educational dimension to the competition. The stage came alive with students from LKG and UKG, who donned the roles of India’s freedom fighters and their costumes and well-delivered speeches paid homage to the heroic figures who shaped the nation’s destiny.
The class wise winners of the competition are; 1st position grabbed by Harshika, Gurkirat Singh (NUR A); Samyukta Singh (NUR B); Madhi Sharma and Pranvi Sharma (LKG A) and Jannat (UKG -A).
The 2nd position went to Mitansh Choudhary, Alice (NUR A); Garvik Chadgal, Bhavika Sharma (NUR B); Priyansh Choudhary (LKG A) and Pankhudi Mrall (UKG A) whereas the 3rd position went to Shivansh Karloopia, Saanvika Singh (NUR A), Latisha Sharma, Shivay Sharma (NUR B), Praveen Gulati (LKG A) and Joyleen Singh (UKG A).
Judges of the event were Preeti Gupta, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, Central University of Jammu; Manpreet Kour and Diviya Sawhney. The event was organized under the supervision of Coordinators Baljeet Kour, Navneet and Rekha Sharma.
