DODA, Sept 8: Motor Vehicles Department Doda organized a road safety awareness programme at Green Model Higher Secondary School, here today. The aim of the programme was to educate students about the importance of road safety and to create awareness among them regarding the various road safety rules and regulations.
On the ocassion ARTO Doda Rajesh Gupta emphasized the need for road safety. He also gave a detailed instructions about traffic signal, signs and told about various online services regarding applying for driving licence, RC and others documents.
A debate competition was also organized in which students of school participated with great enthusiasm and gave better ideas to tackle the accident menace. The students were awarded with prizes and were encouraged to actively participate in spreading awareness about road safety among their peers and family members.
The ARTO Doda was accompanied by Principal Green Model Higher Secondary School Doda, staffs members of school and officials of Motor Vehicles Department Doda.
