JAMMU, Sept 22: MV International School felicitated its proud winners of various medals at the District and State Level Championships, organized by Department of Youth Services and Sports.
In the State Level (U-14) Speedball, the Gold Medal winners included Adeev Kundal of 8th-A and Pratham Thapa of 8th-A, while the Silver and Bronze Medals were clinched by Dikshant and Himanshu Sharma of 9th -A.
In the girls category, Mansi Slathia of 9th-A won Gold Medal in (U-14) and Vishali of 9th -B won Silver Medal in (U-17) District Level Speedball Championship.
In (U-14) Discus Throw, Sparsh of 8th-B won the Gold Medal and Priyanka Slathia of 7th-B won Gold in Shot Put.
In (U-17) Sanjeev of 10th-B won the Bronze Medal in Shot Put, while in Athletics, Shubharti of 11th-A won Gold Medal in 400m race; Sahil Kumar of 11th-A won Gold Medal in 100m race and Shivani of 12th-B won Bronze Medal in 1500m race.
Four students have been selected in the J&K team for National Level Sports Championships. Adeev Kundal and Pratham Thapa of 8th-A have been selected in Speedball (U-14); Priyanka Slathia of 7th-B (U-14) for Short Put and Atish Choudhary of 10th-A for (U-17) Football.
