SAMBA, Sept 4: Mystery shrouds the death of a young housewife who received 70 percent burn injuries at her residence in village Nagrota falling under the jurisdiction of Purmandal Police Station of Samba district today.
The lady identified as Madhu wife of Rakesh Kumar of Nagrota was shifted to Government Medical College Jammu for treatment with 70 percent injuries where she died. The dead body has been kept in mortuary at GMC for postmortem.
The Purmandal police has started the investigation of the case and it is working on different theories. However the statement of the house wife could not be taken as she died prior to that, police said. The Police has appointed the investigating officer to ascertain the facts. However it said that the truth will come out after proper investigation.
