KATHUA, Sept 19: National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) conferred “A” Grade to Government Degree College, during Council’s fifth award ceremony held at Bangalore.
Prof Ved Parkash, Chairman, University Grants Commission (UGC) handed over “A” grade award to College Principal Dr Nater Singh.
GDC was accredited in the month of May by Peer team comprises of Prof Uttam B Bhoite, Chairperson, Former Vice Chancellor, Yemou and Bharti Vidyapeeth Maharashtra, Dr B Yashovarma, member co- Ordinator, Principal Vri Dharasthala, M College Ujire Karnataka and Dr A Kumar, Prof in Management, Bhavanagar University, Gujarat.
GDC was accredited with seven council’s criterion namely curricular aspects, teaching learning and evaluation, research consultancy and extension, infrastructure and learning resources, student support and progression governance and leadership and innovative practices.
