Nagar Kirtan taken out

JAMMU, Jan 5: In connection with Prakash Utsav of tenth Sikh Guru Govind Singh Ji Maharaj, a grand Nagar Kirtan was organized today by the Sikh Youth Council at Simbal Camp.
The Nigar Kirtan commenced from ward number 4 of Simbal Camp and concluded at Indira Nagar via Link Road, Talli Morh, Miran Sahib, Prem Nagar, Bridge Nagar.
Nagar Kirtan also comprised of children riding on motorcycles, school children chanting Gurbani and Gatkha Party. Panj Pyare were leading the Guru’s palanquin. Thousands of accompaniments were going on behind the palanquin of the Guru.
Panj Pyare was welcomed by people at many places. Refreshments stalls were erected at many points. Religious preachers called upon people to follow the path shown by Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
The BDC Chairman Dilip Kumar and founder of the J&K Nav Nirman Party, Jasmehar Singh Chohala, District President Manmeet Singh Mita welcomed the palanquin of Panj Pyare Bagru by offering Siropa and flower garlands. Special security arrangements were made by the administration and police.
