17th Christmas Gold Cup Football

JAMMU, Dec 8: Nagrota FC defeated Hero FC by 2-1 in the ongoing 17th Christmas Gold Cup Football Tournament-2023 here today.
The tournament has been organised by All J&K Sports and Cultural Welfare Association under the aegis of J&K Football Association (DFA, Jammu) at GGM Science College Ground, Jammu.
The chief guest on this occasion was Anil Masoom (Ex- Corporator) who was accompanied by Yousaf Don (Organizing Secretary), David Masih, Ashok Sharma, Ramesh Chander (International Player), Nitin and Peter Sandhu.
The first goal was scored by Aditya in the 20th minute of Nagrota FC while the 2nd goal was scored by Shakkar in the 53rd minute of Nagrota FC and the only goal scored by Aryan in 67th minute for Hero FC. The second match of the day was played between Young Star FC and Young Hero’s in which Young Hero’s FC won by 4-1.
Referees of the matches were Aman Sudan, Ajay Singh, Aryan, Arush, Satnam Singh, Kartik Sharma and Dheeraj Meenia.
