DODA, Oct 15: Police today arrested a narcotic smuggler and recovered 200 grams of charas from his possession at Pul Doda here.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police team from Doda Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a man identified as Irshad Ali, son of Qasim Din of Jaraie Gogran, district Kathua.
During checking, police recovered 200 grams of charas and arrested the narcotic smuggler.
A case under FIR number 195/14 under Section 8/21 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Police Station Doda and investigation started.
