UDHAMPUR, Aug 1: Police arrested a narcotic smuggler along with 100 grams of heroin.
As per police spokesman, a team from Police Station Udhampur led by SHO Inspector Chaman Gorkha under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Sahil Mahajan laid a naka at Jakhani and apprehended a drug peddler along with 100 grams of heroin.
The arrested person was identified as Abdul Yaqoob, son of Dullah of Sadota, Panchari, at present Bali Nallah, District Udhampur.
A case FIR Number 281/2021 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Udhampur and investigation started.
