JAMMU, Oct 21: Nat Manch under its ongoing Tuesday Theatre Series, today organized “Aayee Diwali”, a Dogri play at Maa Vaishno Devi Mandir, Shakti Nagar, Jammu. The play was written and directed by Tarun Sharma.
Hitesh Badyal, president, Nirvana Academy, was the chief guest on the occasion. Brij Mohan Sharma, renowned music director of Jammu, was the guest of honour.
The play revolves around the two girls who came on stage to aware people about the festival Diwali. The play gave the message of celebrating noise and pollution free Diwali.
In the midst of the play the girls started gossip and shouted and made allegations on each other. Tarun Sharma who played the role of anchor came and intervened in the arguments. He asked the girls that this is not the time to gossip and bitching but to spread the message of peace and to celebrate “Diwali”.
He also distributed sweets among the participants and the audience. The actors who performed in the play were Rishav Salgotra, Shriya Sharma, Priya Kashyap, Riya Kashyap and Tarun Sharma.
