Nat Manch stages ‘Desh De Veera Dian Yaada’

JAMMU, Sept 15: Nat Manch in its ongoing Tuesday series presented Dogri play “Desh De Veera Dian Yaada”.
The play was written by Rishav Salgotra and directed by Tarun Sharma.
The play was based on the story of Shaheed Bhagat Singh. One day, Bhagat Singh decided to go to school. His mother asked him for reason and he told her that the teacher of school force students to study in English.
In the school, the teacher told students to collect their books which have been given by the British Government. Bhagat Singh asked students to refuse to collect books from the school because we are Indian. He told teacher that you are our guide and an Indian then how you can force students to collect books of the British culture.
The teacher said that he has no more option for this, because the books are provided by the Government. Bhagat Singh stayed calm and collected the books. He went outside and threw the books on the ground and set them on fire because he did not want the British culture in India. He did not want to move his head down in front of the British rules.
The actors who performed in the play were Tarun Sharma, Rahul Kumar, Rishav Salgotra and Mohit Sharma.
