UDHAMPUR, Oct 25: The National Academy High School, Udhampur clinched 1st position in the District level Art mela held under RMSA at Udhampur here today.
The function was organized by the District Institute of Education and Trainings (DIET) Udhampur.
Field Advisor State Institute of Training, S.K. Raina was the chief guest while Chief Education Officer, Udhampur was the guest of honour on the occasion.
The Govt. High School Seen Brahmana and Govt. Girls High School Ramnagar secured 2nd and 3rd position respectively while Govt. High School Darsoo got 4th position besides Govt. Higher Secondary School, Majalta and Govt High School Garhi shared 5th position respectively. The participants were awarded prizes and certificates of merit.
A total of 40 students from different schools of district Udhampur participated and showed their talent and innovative ideas through different events like paintings, drawings, portrait, paper work, wooden work and local art of the area.
Principal DIET, Udhampur highlighted the importance of Art mela.
