KATRA, Apr 26: 1st National Case Study Conference, organized by School of Business, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, concluded today.
Participants from all over India presented their cases on various topics where they were evaluated by top panelists from different institutions all over India.
Prof  Neeraj Dwivedi, Dr  Raj K  Kovid, Prof  Sabyasachi Sinha, Dr  Saurabh, Dr  Vijay Phate, Dr  Jyoti Sharma, Prof  Prashant Patil and Prof  Devang Patel were the  resource persons. The topics presented by the participants were based upon the issues of management administration.
The presentations were from the various areas of management as well as social sciences on entrepreneurship. Some of the papers touched the success cases of various business models as well as social innovations.
There were four groups, comprised of eight participants and were evaluated by top panelists from all over India. The participants were evaluated by Dr Sabyasachi Sinha, Dr Devang Patel, Dr Raj K Kovid and Dr Vijay Phate.
The case by Ajaz-ul-Islam, SMVDU on “Regulatory fraud” was judged second runner up. The first runner up position was shared by Dr Majid Qadri & team from The Business School Kashmir University on “Academic leadership” and Dr Anil Bhat and others from SKUAST, Jammu on “Rice milling in Jammu”. The best case award was given to Dr Pranay Parashar and Dr Sujit Metre from AIMSR, Nagpur on “Make in India via Make in Maharashtra-Vidarbha-Nagpur”. The best team of participants judged from SMVDU was Vani Gupta and Shivani Chopra on the case “Shiva Filling Station-A financial analysis of a retail outlet”.
