JAMMU, May 30: The NSS unit of National College of Education, Purkhoo Camp, Domana organized an inter section quiz competition on leadership and personality development based on the life of Swami Vivekananda, here.
The programme was organized under the guidance of Indu Raina, incharge of NSS wing of the College.
The objective of the competition was to make students aware of their innate divine potential like self confidence and skills for improving will power, concentration and patriotism required for self excellence.
Neena Sharma, Principal of the College was chief guest on the occasion. Two students from each team namely A, B, C, D and E participated in the competition. The questions were based on general knowledge, Personality development, Life History of Swami Vivekananda and his contribution on education.
Team D comprising of students namely Meenakshi Bali and Pooja Mangotra, Team B comprising of students namely Sujata Gupta and Sonia, Team C comprising of students namely Rama Sharma and Vandana Devi respectively were adjudged first, second and third in the competition. Prizes were distributed among the winning teams by the Principal of the College.
