REASI, May 7: Government Girls Middle School Panasa (Zone Reasi) organized National Environment Awareness Campaign 2012-13, here today.
Subash Chander Sharma, Zonal Education Officer Reasi was the chief guest and Kaka Ram Dogra, ZPEO Reasi presided over the functin.
M Akram Khan District Coordinator WWF was the Special Invities.
The chief guest while addressing highlighted the importance of environment education in the school.
Under the theme Bio Diversity Conservation different events were organized which included painting competition, Lecture, Seminar etc. OP Dogra, Headmaster also spoke on the occasion.
Prominent among others present in the function included Anjana Puri, Dev Dutt, Geeta Gupta, Sukbir Singh, Ashu Verma, Nazir Ahmed Jan, Asma HM Dasnoo, Jyoti Devi, Jagdish Raj, Balwant Singh, Sonia Thakur, Ab Gufar, Jeet Singh and Nazir Ahmad.
Anju Devi ,Sonali Devi and Nana Sharma got Ist, 2nd and 3rd position in Painting competition respectively, while Jamat Ali, Shavali Devi and Prinka Sharma stood Ist, 2nd and 3rd in Symposium respectively.
