National Jeep launches new ‘Trailhawk’

JAMMU, June 10: National Jeep launched the new Trailhawk by Jeep here today.
On the occasion, MLC Vikram Randhawa was the chief guest, who unveiled the new Trailhawk in presence of Director of the company Sahaj Gulhati and many others.
Speaking about the feature, Gulhati informed that the 4×4 diesel TrailHawk will be distinguished itself by being the first car in India to get a 9-speed automatic gearbox. It will also debut a BS-VI emission norms. Additionally, Trailhawk’s ground clearance is 205. Its also gets reprofiled front and rear bumpers, which give it improved approach and departure angles, he added.
“Different is the positioning of the air take, it is set higher now, giving the TrailHawk a water-wading depth of 480 mm, up from the standard Compass 405 mm. Just to make it more off road ready, Jeep has equipped the TrailHawk with underside skid plates, all seasons tyres and all weather floor mats”, Gulhati informed.
