JAMMU, Dec 10: The 33rd Senior National Tennis Ball Cricket tournament got underway at MA Stadium, here today.
J&K beat Punjab by 8 wickets wherein Aqib bowled well and took 3 wickets. In the girls section, Mumbai, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Goa entered into the last eight (quarter-finals). Rest of the matches were going on under floodlights at MA Stadium, here.
The championship is being organized by J&K Tennis Ball Cricket Association in collaboration with J&K State Sports Council.
In men’s category , Ladakh beat Kerala, Rajasthan trounced MP, Chhattisgarh defeated Karnataka, Mumbai beat AP, UP trounced AP, Tamil Nadu defeated CBSE and Bihar beat Delhi.
In women’s section UP beat Delhi, Bihar defeated Telangana, Goa trounced Odisha, Chhattisgarh beat Mumbai, Odisha defeated AP, Goa trounced AP and Tamil Nadu beat Western UP.
