JAMMU, Feb 18: Nav Yug Higher Secondary School today celebrated Annual Sports Day with great zeal and frolicsome atmosphere in the school premises.
Two hundred students of class 5th , 6th and 7th participated and each one of them enthralled the audience .
Various types of sports events like Banana race, Lemon spoon race , Simple race , Three leg race along with Musical chair and Tug of War were played during the event.
The prizes were distributed among the students for their excellent performances in various events. The students who win 1st prize in different events were Hanshika, Jeeyana Baloria, Krish, Aditya, Faizan Khan, Amarjeet, Badal, Karma while 2nd prize went to Tania Sharma, Nidhi Sharma, Yukti, Tenzin Lodhi, Piyush Singh, Avish, Anmol, Vansh and Bhanu Partap.
Third prize was clinched by Tanshu Parihar, Tenzin Othsal, Abhishek Baloria, Preesha, Sanchi, Navdeep, Chiranjeev and Ridhima Kotwal in various sports events.
