JAMMU, Oct 24: Seven Naval cadets of Government College for Women (GCW), Gandhi Nagar brought laurels to the institution by winning positions in All India Nav Sainik Camp, which was held at Karwar, Karnataka.
Cadets outshined in various events wherein they clinched third position in cultural, 4th position in semaphore and 4th position in ship modeling.
Meanwhile, J&K Directorate scored 9th rank amongst the 17 Directorates.
Dr Kiran Bakshi, Principal of the College encouraged the cadets to carry on the sequence of victories.
Dr Revika Arora, ANO, Prof Poonam Rajput, ANO and Prof Malti Rajput, ANO also appreciated the cadets for bringing glory and pride to the State as well as to the institution.
