JAMMU, Oct 12: Navyug Playway School organized fancy dress competition, in which around 150 students from Nursery, LKG and UKG classes took part.
Hardev Singh Jamwal, Managing Director of the school was the chief guest on the occasion.
The purpose of the competition was not only to blend learning with fun but also to develop confidence in students by giving each student an opportunity to get on stage and speak in front of audience.
The students were free to choose their own character and were judged according to attire, presentation and confidence.
In Nursery class, Adhiraj and Aditi bagged first prize, second prize was shared by Yashavi and Parinidhi whereas third prize went to Lakshia and Radesh.
In LKG class, first prize was claimed by Ayan and Hareet, Sameer and Ishita stood second, whereas third prize went to Sitikshan and Ritika.
In UKG class, Divyom and Bhoomi bagged first prize, Samarveer and Ishaan bagged second prize, whereas third prize was shared by Prabraj and Urvie.
Every participating student was given medal for active participation and moral boost.
Founder of the school-cum-administrator Chander Kanta and School Captains Akshit Basur Akasnsha Gupta were the judges on the occasion.
In the end, School Principal, Preetika Jamwal presented vote of thanks.
