LONDON, Nov 1: Pakistan’s ousted Prime Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif is departing for Pakistan on Wednesday from London to appear before the Accountability Court on Friday to face corruption references.
A Dunya News report said the PML-N president will fly back via Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK-786, and arrive in Islamabad on Thursday morning.
Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif, who convened a meeting with Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and disqualified Prime Minister Nawaz earlier this week, also talked to the media and reiterated that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz would continue its people-centric politics irrespective of politicians who resort to lies and false propaganda.
In the meanwhile, the second chemotherapy of Kulsoom Nawaz is scheduled for Wednesday. She will be returning to Pakistan after treatment of her lymph nodes cancer. (AGENCIES)
