JAMMU, Dec 16: J&K’s young Judokas, Nazia Fatima and Syed Azaan, clinched bronze medals in the ongoing SGFI National School Games held in Punjab. Nazia competed in the 44kg category, while Syed Azaan participated in the 57kg category.
Both athletes received training at the PMDP Judo Center under the guidance of State Awardee Judo Coach Kabra Altaf. Their remarkable achievements highlight the growing prominence of J&K in judo. Coach Altaf praised their hard work and dedication, stating, “This victory is a result of their perseverance and structured coaching. It shows that with the right support, athletes from J&K can shine at the national level.”
