NC-BJP “undeclared” alliance going on: PDP

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, July 8: Dubbing National Conference as party of opportunist elements, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) today expressed surprise that on the one hand NC  has been enjoying powers with Congress while on the other its undeclared alliance with BJP is going on.
In a statement issued here today, spokesman of PDP Sardar Rangil Singh said that NC was part of the NDA Government and the then BJP led Government at Centre had used Omar Abdullah as “show-boy” all over the world as Minister of State for External Affairs. “After formation of UPA Government, the National Conference had publically shifted its loyalty and joined UPA but its undeclared alliance with BJP is continuing”, Sardar Rangil Singh said.
“Elections to four Rajya Sabha seats in the year 2009 had exposed NC-BJP undeclared alliance because on the direction of a senior BJP leader some BJP MLAs had voted in favour of NC candidate”, Singh said and dared NC leaders to clear their stand on getting vote from BJP MLAs to ensure victory of their candidate.
