State vice president& MLC, Girdhari Lal Raina in his address
asked people to vote in large numbers and re-elect popular leader Prime Minister, Narendra Modi with a record number of seats to further strengthen his resolve to make India a powerful, strong and economically developed country.
He while cautioning the community against nefarious designs of NC, Congress and PDP, recalled how NC- Congress Coalition disrespected the community martyrs by falsely claiming that only 209 KPs were martyred by terrorists in Kashmir. It was the same coalition that created impediments in implementing employment package. NC -Congress Government refused to shoulder the responsibility of providing 3000 jobs under package, he added.
He said NC- Congress stopped issuance of RBA certificates to the displaced persons thereby denying them share in admission to professional colleges, employment and in other areas.

In July 2014 GOI provided a sum of Rs 500 crore as special support for the displaced KPs. In December 2015 Modi Government decided to bear the cost of additional 3000 posts under employment package which was shelved by NC ,Congress, he added.
