JAMMU, Mar 30: “NC-Congress alliance and unity is the greatest need of the hour”, said former PWD Minister, Lal Mohd Sabir in various door to door meetings and urged the people to vote in favour of alliance candidates in the upcoming elections.
Despite his ill health and weakness, Sabir approached various sections of the society, highlighted the work done by NC-Congress Coalition Government in the State and appealed them to vote for good success in the present election.
During meeting with various sections of the society, the former PWD Minister apprised them how he got appointed thousands of unemployed youth from backward and hilly areas in the Government services in PHE and R&B and other departments when he was Works and Housing Minister in the State Cabinet.
Sabir also highlighted the works done by senior leaders of the Congress Ghulam Nabi Azad and Madan Lal Sharma and appealed the voters to cast their valuable votes in their favour.
