JAMMU, Nov 13: Minister for Planning and Development, Labour and Employment, Ajay Kumar Sadhotra today expressed confidence that next Government in the State would be formed by National Conference (NC) led by Omar Abdullah.
Addressing a well attended meeting at village Halqua in Tehsil Marh, the Minister said that during the last six years Chief Minister Omar Abdullah did countless works in every sector like creation of new administrative units thereby bringing the administration at the door steps of the common masses, Public Service Guarantee Act for expediting the delivery of services to the people of the State, holding of panchayat elections and strengthening the local Government in the rural areas.
Besides, the Omar Government constructed and upgraded a number of roads and bridges, electrified rural and far flung areas, established and upgraded Primary Health Centres and schools and launched different schemes under SKEWPY to benefit the youth
Sadhotra appealed the people not be taken in by those who believe in the caste and religion based politics and whole heartedly support and strengthen the hands of Omar Abdullah
Those who spoke on the occasion include Piar Singh, Sarpanch, Subash Sharma Sarpanch, Kasturi Lal Sharma, Block secretary, Charanjeet Singh, organizer for Block Marh, Rameshwar Sharma, Raj Kumar and others.
