NC leaders assail PDP-BJP for ignoring weaker sections

JAMMU, Dec 21: Co-chairman OBC Cell of National Conference Abdul Gani Teli has assailed the PDP-BJP Government for ignoring weaker sections of society and maintained that the problems of the people have accumulated during the recent months.
Welcoming several political workers into the National Conference at a function held at Sanjay Nagar here, Mr Teli hoped they will further strengthen the party at grass roots levels.
Speaking on the occasion, Jammu District ( Urban)  president,  Dharamveer Singh Jamwal described National Conference as a mass movement which has always stood for the just cause of people and strived for their betterment. He welcomed the new entrants and urged them to fan out in their areas and highlight the problems faced by people at appropriate fora.
The function was organized by Shahid Iqbal  to discuss various issues faced by the people of Sanjay Nagar.
The local workers of Sanjay Nagar apprised the NC leaders about their problems which included, damaged roads requiring immediate repairs and  upgradation; construction of  pully connecting Nanak Nagar to be made motorable; functioning of street lights and providing adequate medicare to the people of the area.
Prominent among those who joined NC included Amjad Mohd, Gurtaj Singh, Harmeet Singh, Kulbir Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Simran Singh, Harjinder Singh, Rajesh Bakshi and Jaspal Singh.
